Privacy policy
Nexikos processes only the data needed to operate, secure and provide the service.
Controller
The controller is the operator identified in the legal notice. The contact details below may be used for personal-data enquiries.
Data processed
This may include account information, business contact details, property, tenant, lease and payment data, uploaded documents, security logs and technical information needed to operate the service.
Purposes
Processing supports authentication, property-management functions, requested communications, platform security, abuse prevention, backups and billing.
Processors and hosting
Technical providers may be used for hosting, email delivery and payments. They receive only the data needed to perform their task.
Retention
Data is kept for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Unconfirmed signup requests are automatically deleted when they expire.
Backups
The entire site (database and files, including personal data) is automatically backed up in Switzerland on two cycles: a copy every hour, when data has changed, of which at least the latest 24 are kept on a rolling basis, and a backup every day, normally kept for 15 days (at least 15 days) and then deleted automatically; data deleted in the application may therefore remain in the backups for that period. After an incident, data is restored to the state of the last backup: data entered since then (up to one hour of activity) may be lost. Backups serve to restore the service; they are not an archive from which items can be requested one by one. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for data lost between two backups (wilful intent and gross negligence reserved, art. 100 CO). The customer keeps its own exports.
Security
Nexikos uses appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, logging, backups and protection against abusive login attempts.
Operator access to data
For support, security and legal compliance, the operator may access customer data through a dedicated administration account protected by two-factor authentication, read-only unless expressly authorised; every access is logged (date, organisation, screen or object viewed, masked IP address) and the log is retained.
Cookies and language
The public website may store the selected language in a functional cookie. Advertising cookies are not required for the basic operation of the site.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of certain personal data.
Portability
Company data can be exported from Nexikos at any time, including after the account moves to Basique mode.
